All That Is Unknown

As the future is now present
As the seasons go by once more
My inner self grows by countless lengths
Which confuses me too far

The day will always come to an end
The hot will always cool off
But something inside will never stop growing
Whatever it is, eternity can't have enough

So many mixed feelings surround me
My heart gathering gentle sweet thoughts
If one day everything is gone
This infinite sense will never be lost

The meaning of life will never be known
Paradise will never be found
If we all don't hold on together
And lift our feet off the ground

My knowledge is becoming a labirynth
The more I know, the less I understand
The best of life is nothing we can touch
Just let go and trust yourself in a stranger's hand

Be true to love
Most that is good our eyes allow to slip
Don't let time make you a prisioner
The ancient potion is within yourself

Don't be scared to take a sip

Nothing

I've been thinking of you for days
About your touch, your lips, your ways
your dimply smile lights up your face
I remember listening over and over again to "Grace"
and the smell in the bathroom after your shower
you were always late by about an hour
your energy so high and perfectly mature
making everyone believe everything is happy and secure
Fear burning in your neatly painted hazel eyes
I'm the only one who can see the coolness in disguise
The one who buried you inside so deep
who will forever long for your safe body heat
I think about this great man you'll be
how it will mean nothing without me
